Servogear has developed a motion control system, Servogear Ecofoil^TM , based on our renowned effect rudder principle. A motion control system is normally activated for just 5 - 10 per cent of the vessel's running time. Therefore, in the interest of more economical operation we have developed the system that does not reduce the speed of the craft when inactive. The Servogear Ecofoil^TM systems running in service today have documented extremely good results under harsh weather conditions - much improved passenger comfort, increased directional stability and no loss of speed. Servogear Ecofoil^TM can also be installed as an active foil in combination with interceptors that are tailored to each hull and propeller tunnel.
